Day Schedule
Departure from Marrakech
We begin the beautiful 3-hour drive towards the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through olive groves and Berber towns.
Arrival & Hiking
Arrive at Ouzoud. Hike from the top of the falls down through shaded olive paths. Keep an eye out for wild Barbary macaque monkeys!
Boat Ride
Reach the bottom pools. Optional traditional boat ride to get close to the spray of the cascading water.
Lunch with a View
Enjoy a Berber Tagine at a terraced restaurant overlooking the waterfalls. The view is unmatched.
Return Journey
Walk back up the stairs. Meet the driver for the return trip, arriving in Marrakech around 06:30 PM.

Can we swim?
Yes, swimming is allowed in the natural pools. The water is cold and refreshing!
Are the monkeys dangerous?
They are friendly and used to humans, but please treat them with respect and do not tease them.
How long is the drive?
It takes about 2.5 to 3 hours each way. We stop for coffee/restrooms halfway.
Is the hike hard?
It involves stairs and slopes but is manageable for average fitness. The path is well-paved.
