The Itinerary
Marrakech – Telouet – Ouarzazate
We start with a relaxed morning pick-up. Unlike other tours, we take the scenic detour to Telouet Kasbah via the High Atlas.
We continue to Ait Ben Haddou for a guided tour and lunch. Afternoon visit to the Atlas Studios or relax in Ouarzazate for the night.
Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades
We visit the authentic Kasbah Amridil in Skoura Oasis. Drive through the Valley of Roses and see nomad caves.
The afternoon is dedicated to the Dades Gorges. Enjoy a gentle hike through the "Monkey Fingers" rock formations, a highlight often missed on faster tours.
Dades – Todra – Merzouga Hotel
We explore the towering Todra Gorges canyon before heading towards the Sahara.
Upon arrival in Merzouga, check into a charming desert hotel on the edge of the dunes. Enjoy a swim in the pool and watch your first desert sunset.
Merzouga Discovery – Camp
4x4 exploration day: Visit Khamlia village for Gnaoua music and share tea with a nomadic family.
In the late afternoon, mount your camels for a sunset trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes to your desert camp for a night under the stars.
Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Fes
Wake up for sunrise. We drive north through the Ziz Valley palm groves and stop in Midelt for lunch.
Visit the Cedar Forest to see monkeys and stop in Ifrane before reaching Fes in the early evening.
