The Itinerary
Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades
Your journey with El Wakili Tours begins with an early morning pick-up. We drive through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2,260m).
Our first major stop is the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After lunch, we continue through Ouarzazate and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, ending the day in the Dades Valley for dinner.
Dades – Todra Gorges – Merzouga
After breakfast, we depart for the Todra Gorges, where you can walk beneath towering 300-meter cliffs. We then continue towards the Sahara, passing through Erfoud.
Upon arrival in Merzouga, the highlight begins. You will meet your camel caravan and trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi as the sun sets. Arrive at your desert camp for a Berber dinner and music.
Merzouga – Draa Valley – Marrakech
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we ride the camels back and start our return journey.
We drive through Rissani and the vast palm groves of the Draa Valley. We stop for lunch in Ouarzazate before crossing the High Atlas Mountains once more. Your driver will drop you off at your accommodation in Marrakech in the evening.
