The Itinerary
Fes – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Early pick up from Fes. Drive south through Ifrane (Little Switzerland) and the Cedar Forest to see Barbary monkeys.
Cross the Middle Atlas mountains and descend into the palm-filled Ziz Valley. Arrive in Merzouga for a sunset camel trek to your desert camp.
Merzouga – Midelt – Fes
Wake up early for a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast and a shower, begin the journey back north.
We take a different view of the landscapes, stopping for lunch in Midelt (the apple capital). Arrive back in Fes in the evening (approx 7-8 PM).
